I haven't been a part of the pointe community yet! But I am too excited as I know it will be a great experience. Pointe seemed very welcoming and home-like.
I've enjoyed my time living at The Pointe. Unfortunately next year I am moving back downtown bc it is a lot more convenient. I did like how noise was never a problem here.
I like living at the Pointe because it is so quiet and I love how much more affordable it is compared to other options. I love that we get free parking and a free bus pass. Plus we have access to the gym, pool, etc. The one thing I would complain about is how it takes a long time for things to get fixed. I've never had a problem when I submit a maintenance request, but there are other things that should be fixed but do not get fixed. One example would be the huge potholes in the back of the complex that have been there for at least a year and keep getting worse. I've also had many issues with my room key and it took a long time for my door to get fixed because the reader's battery ended up dying. Other than that the staff are very friendly and I enjoy living here. Another plus is that it's close to the grocery store and many other restaurants.
Love living at the pointe. One of the best apartment complexes in State College. It is in a great location, has good transportation options, and does not feel crowded like a lot of other apartments.
I feel like if you're going to close the gym, pool, sauna, computer room, and common room, my rent should reflect that I'm not paying for those to be maintained.
I love having my own room and bathroom. Also having an in unit washer and dryer has been a life savior. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is a bit far from campus but I love being able to travel to get home. I feel more mature.
Nice amenities (computer lab, coffee/food days, pool). Good maintenance service (timely). Neighbors are noisy sometimes (parties). Sometimes hard to find parking close to the building.
Great experience love how close these apartments are to campus and how the bus stops right at the apartments. Nice room set up really loved it
The place looks amazing. I haven’t stayed there yet but when I came to look at the place I knew I had to stay there. Staff seemed super nice and the whole place looks complete for a college student
Internet was not good for the majority of the year. There are many potholes. The appliances are all very old and look like they will break down soon
Not a bad place to live. For the price, I could’ve lived in a brand new apartment elsewhere. It sucks that the rent prices dropped a lot AFTER I already signed my lease. I thought they went up ever year. Smh
The complex is very nice and the staff is pretty responsive. Ever since the wifi was fixed I don't have much to complain about. The only thing I wish was better was that there were more cable channels offered and that the basketball court wasn't so dusty. It makes it hard to play in there.
Kind of dated amenities which I get is being replaced next year. So many promotions and price drops for the following year which kinda leaves people who are only here this last year feeling cheated
I had a great time at the Pointe, it was my senior year and I wouldn’t want it any other way! Great place and a great time to be at Penn State!
It was okay. The experience overall was okay. It wasn’t the best but also it wasn’t bad. Somewhere in the middle for me. I think because of COVID-19 I didn’t get the full experience as I wanted to for my last semester.
Apartments are updated and clean. There are great available amenities, namely the grills, pool, and weight room. Staff is extremely friendly and always ready to help.
I think overall this is a great place. The staff and maintenance is great. The living space is super nice and convenient. A nice place to call home.
I am so glad I can camp out here through this tough times. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. I really wish the gym was open tho, I think being able to work out would help me so much through this
I love living at the pointe. The office staff are extremely nice and helpful and the amenities are fantastic. I enjoy grilling by the pool in the summer time with friends.
this is a good place to live in. I think I will release the time for the next year. I think this apartment is near the Walmart . The people here are really friendly
The maintenance is very slow. I have issues still needed to be fixed. They do not care about their residence. They care more about a pay check.
Very easy process to get started with them. Help is always available for questions and most accommodations are taken care of which is a huge benefit. Especially the cata bus pass.
The staff is very kind. The rooms are decent. And maintenance and other survives are quick to respond. Other tenants are friendly too. The ponte
Wish the Billing system can be improved despite the couple of times switching different platforms. Also wish the simple bills can be more in details so roommates can have a more understanding of the inconsistency in rates of the charges each month can be reasonably explained.
basically everything is fine. I just need a place to stay. I like the Pointe being quiet in the usual times. And that makes me comfortable. And the Pointe is good at the price which is lower than most of the apartments nearby. That's the thing I like.
Quite excellent staying in this apartment complex. The stay is so understanding and accommodating to your everday needs. Thank you for always being there for me!
The pointe is an awesome place if you like having space for yourself. You get your own private bedroom and bathroom. You also have washer and dryers inside the apartment. There is a gym at the community center and a bus pass is provided to get to campus. The only downside is the thin walls and floors, so living on the top floor is your best bet to not have noisy upstairs neighbors.
It's great! Staff is really nice, amenities (particularly the sauna) are awesome. I haven't had hot water in like three months, though, and the stove has really inconsistent heat (anything below a 4 on the heat is just "off," not "low"). But it's nice to have a washer and dryer in-house and not have to share it with the whole building, and the grounds are generally kept pretty clean (though there is a specific mound of dog poop which has frozen and thawed several times over the past few months, and to my knowledge is still there). Everyone is really dog-friendly, and I enjoy all the popcorn/hotdog/smoothie days.
Thus far I've been very pleased with the speed with which the staff respond to issues I have. Thank you for your assistance with receivig my bonus
I love living here! Very spacious for a great price. I love the events (Wish they did more). There is also a great gym and pool. The lounge is great to meet with friends!
Limited parking, lazy maintenance, trash smoke alarms, poor insulation, paper thin walls and no guest passes and thats just the beginning. Not to mention it is overpriced and they spam you with emails about renewing since they are so close to max capacity when they haven’t been at max capacity for 3 years or more.
Convenient to be located next to Walmart and not too far from campus, very spacious and friendly staff. They are very quick with maintenance requests and they offer a lot of community activities and free food ! Me and my cat love it here!
The pointe is an awesome place to live. It’s close to campus, & the bus route comes right to the pointe. It makes it so easy to get to and from school.
An interesting place! I really found what I like in those apartments. The location of those apartments are really great, near everything!!!!!
Mostly good but we had an internet hitch. I'm also having a few other issues that I hope to have sorted by talking to the staff over the spring break.
The pointe is a great place to live. The employees are very helpful and plan great events for us. I like the convince of having the bus stop right in front of the complex and makes it convenient to go see other friends that live at other apartment complexes.
I really enjoy living at The Pointe. There is always some type of event or food going on down in the office. I also enjoy the community center to study in or to workout. However, when my roommates and I moved in, the apartment was filthy and needed a lot of cleaning.
I really enjoy the pool and gym, but I wish we had better washers and dryers. I also wish the ovens in the kitchen were A lot better than they currently are.
It has been pleasing living here, it is a good amount of space. There is not much commotion going on and its easy access to stores and buses.
Most of the equipment is good, instead of the bad Internet. I usually use the wifi at noon or midnight, but I still experience bad Internet environment.
i like living at the pointe, i appreciate all the events they do to make it feel like a community. I do wish the apartments were nicer and more clean when we moved in.
The experience at the pointe has always been enjoyable. The community is quiet and everyone is respectful. The apartments are very spacious as well.
So far so good! Looking forward to moving in this fall! Signijf the lease and working with the leasing officer was a breeze and they answered all questions I had at the time ans any thay I have now. Looking forward to being apart of the Pointe Fam
Nice environment, the network is fixed, there are noises from upstairs people a lot at midnight, the bathtub is a little bit dirty and the color of the water is sometimes weird.
Great location near school and Walmart. Convenient express bus to school. There is a lab for printing, a gym to workout, pools and ping pong to play. But some amenities need to maintain.
Living at The Pointe is great. They always organize activities and provide great food. Also, the internet, cable, and laundry is included on your lease.
Overall I t’s pretty nice here, except the interior of the apartment is a bit old, and the internet speed is noticeably slow. And the bus stop is four mins away from my apartment.
Amentities here are really good. Would just do some research before signing a lease here. Only bad thing is the WiFi never works and was non existent for maybe a month
I really like the privacy of having my own bathroom. Overall the Pointe is really great but I do not like the key card system to get into our apartment. It constantly disables (it could disable if you have it close to your phone, AirPods, credit cards, etc.) and it is so easy to loose. I do really love that they are constantly giving out free things and have different contests going to win gift cards. 10/10 recommend
Its been a 5 star service! The community is great and the apartment is spacious with a great amount of personal space. I love The Pointe!!!!!
The pointe seems to not have followed through with all the great things they advertised. I still suffer from internet issues here and there and my roommates kinda suck
The amenities are nice and management is thoughtful. Things work as expected for the price. The maintenance comes timely given how many people are in the complex, but the portal is down often which can get frustrating.
My experience so far has been amazing! Everyone has been really nice and seems to care about my needs. I enjoy that there are a lot of activities going on!
It’s awesome being a resident here. They have amazing events that you can explore with your friends. The food they offer is pretty nice and they got a gym!
This apartment complex is awesome! It has spacious units and each room has its own bathroom. The gym is 24/7 and comes with a computer lab. It is a great place to live!
Very friendly staff! I never heard any bad reviews, except for minor ones like they didn't like the color of their couches lol Probably one of the cheaper options for luxury living!
I love living at The Pointe. The office staff is so friendly, the gym is great, and I love my apartment. I have renewed for next year, and the process was so simple. The wifi was annoying for a while, but since the upgrade, it has been unproblematic.
Really good experience, I love the coffee room and all the activities in the office (pop corn, nachos etc). Also it is close to the walmart so it is nice to go by walking.
Pros-Own room and bathroom, spacious, clean, free food in clubhouse, reasonably priced, quite
Cons-Distance from campus, thin walls, old appliances
The maintenance has really just stopped caring this year and customer service has gone to zero. The internet just didn't exist for like 8 months and I had to extend my data plan accordingly.
I've had a pleasant experience living here at The Pointe. The staff in the office is always so willing to help. For example, one morning the printer was jammed and I was about to be late for class but one of the employees offered to print my paper in the office so I wouldn't be late. It's the little effort that they put in that makes a huge difference.
Terrible experience with appliances and network. The apartment was not cleaned when I moved in. Not to mention the paint in my bathroom is so terrible, a toddler could have done better. Management does not really care. Oh yeah they failed to provide their college residents with wifi, but also did not permit them to buy their own private wifi.
When I need something maintenance always is fast and fixes the problem. Someone is always readily available to help. Whenever I have a problem the office is kind and gives me a solution.
Very nice amenities. The gym, computer lab, and pool are all lovely. I enjoy all of the free food days (today I enjoyed nacho tuesday). There are plenty of ways for the residents to get involved around the community.
The pointe is a fun place to live. The perfect location, close to campus and shopping. The busses run at good times and parking is close to the apartments.
Internet was terrible, but did end up getting fixed. Staff does not seem to be knowledgeable about some important issues around the apartment complex.
The Pointe is a convenient place to live and offers alot of great services and amenities. I use the bus pass everyday and I'm very appreciative of having a dishwasher, washer, dryer, and private bathroom. I think the most inconsistent part of the Pointe is the internet provided but hopefully with the upgrades in place, it'll be a good selling point for the complex.
Everything is great here. Maintenance service helped a lot. They have shown enough respect to your clean floor. Fantastic roommates! Everyone in the office is so nice and helpful! Thank you!
I enjoy living at the Pointe and renewed for next year. The renewal deals and signing deals are great. I love how it is pet friendly, I can have my dog and he has friends to play with! The pool is great in the warmer months (if only we had a hot tub for the cold winter). Having a gym in walking distance is great as well. A bit of maintenance issues quite often but usually resolved.
They just improve the internet ! That is fantastic, we are waiting for such a long time. I am not regret that I sign the next year’s lease. Good apartment!
great service so far. easy to use website and helpful staff. many extra options to get rewards. would definitely refer to a friend in the future.
i enjoy it here. having my own room and bathroom is really nice. I am planning to live here next year as well. I appreciate all the amenities given to us.
It has a nice location and people / management, but not the cleanest upon move-in (eg. paint splotches on the floor). Sound really travels from neighbors; the floors/walls are thin.
Enjoyed the apartment so far. Only problem has been the wifi, but that is supposed to be fixed soon. Staff is fairly quick to respond and has been keeping us fairly well updated on anything going on
Overall, the I have no complaints about the apartment itself. My only problem is with the internet which has had its upgrade delayed several times now, and an upstairs neighbor who has a dog that cries for 6 hours a day.
It’s nice community for student to live in with, the location is nice, Just take you a few minutes walk to Walmart or you can take bus to school.
it’s ok except internet. Yeah maybe we could do something together and then we go together maybe next time maybe next weekend maybe maybe next year or something or do something .
The staff at the pointe have been very kind and responsive to emails. Though the internet situation is being fixed, 3 months with terrible internet connection while still paying 700 dollars a month was not a pleasant experience.
Quick maintenance and very helpful office staff! The few problems I've had were resolved both professionally and in a timely manner. Probably the best value in State College!
WiFi is the only issue with this place, they said they are working on it but it’s still mediocre. Also if the pool was heated that would be much better. But everything else is great. Especially the location we are located close to literally everything here. The pointe has great staff, maintenance, amenities. I just signed my lease for my third year and have been just excited as I was for my first and second year here.
I’ve had a great experience here at the Pointe and the amenities that come with this place is great! The gym, basketball court, and study room all come in handy!
The staff is always very helpful and kind the only downfall is that it’s obvious the upkeep of the actual apartments is not a priority. Particularly upon move in my apartment was unclean and had multiple issues that had to be fixed. Otherwise it’s a good place to live
It’s not bad living here but it could be better with the utilities and internet services. Utilities are too much and internet is still very bad.
Very nice staff. Place is well-kept. Great community. Good price for considering the very nice units. Amenities are very good whether you wanna work out or find a place to study.
I am kind of unhappy with the living at The Pointe. The management does not care about its residence. The internet is awful. I have many issues
love the area and the staff is extremely helpful. when putting in requests they don't take long to respond. the one thing that sucked is that when i first moved in the apartment had not been cleaned and is still a little dirty
Overall a solid place to live for penn state students and non students alike. High quality apartments with minimal damage and nice residents.
The living area and bedrooms are very nice especially with having individual bathrooms, the only downsides are the loud parties that happen frequently at night and the internet which is often very slow and hard to get done work with.
It has been a nice place to live, nearly perfect. However, it would be better if my apartment is closer to the bus stop and garbage disposal place. I sometimes also hear noise from people upstairs.
The Pointe is a great place to live and the location is really nice. The bus stop is very close to our apartment and it is a short 10 minute ride to campus on the VE. The Pointe is also pet friendly which is an added bonus!
Certainly not the best apartment I’ve ever seen, but great value for the price in this area. I have noisy neighbors, but at least it’s not the whole complex.
The apartments at the Pointe are fair for the price. They aren’t perfect but they are much nicer than others. The gym is good but could use some more equipment eg. Exercise bikes and a power rack instead of a smith machine. It’s still good enough for most people to have full workout routines though. I also wish that they would do more to clean up the grounds. Especially the drainage pond has lots of litter. Other than that, I really like living here.
Love the community and ammentities at The Pointe! I think the staff does a great job of welcoming residents and planning fun events! My favorite event was the pointapalooza and the dog pool day.
Apartments are nice and affordable compared to other places. Having my own room and bathroom is a great benefit. Building has some cosmetic issues that could be fixed but otherwise it’s a great place to live
The pointe puts effort into events and promotions which makes residents feel cared for. Some aspects such as the initial cleaning of the apartments should have been better taken care of considering the price of rent.
It's such a great place to live, with very convenient access to campus and to amenities. Someone keeps not picking up after their dog in the lawn behind my apartment, but other than that things are going great!
It’s a really nice place to live. It has everything a student needs. All the resources are available to us like the printer or the quite area to study. The gym is a nice place to get a workout in.
Management gets back to you quickly. Spaces are decent sized. Apartments are not always cleaned when you move in. Quiet community. Would recommend.
It is a nice apartment and it’s nice to be living with friends. The biggest downfall is the location, but the cats busses are reasonably good with time
I love it here, it is super nice with regards to the utilities and the gym and everything else that comes with it. The only drawback is the commute.
Maintenance are usually very quick to respond to work orders and the office staff are always nice and helpful. They do plenty to involve the residents and give out free food
Living here has been very nice so far. I love having my own bedroom and bathroom. I also love having the gym, sauna, free coffee, computer lab, and the volleyball and basketball courts! All of the amenities are great!
Living at the Pointe Apartments has been a great experience. The managers are great. I love the fact that they are always giving out food and snacks.
I honestly love living here. It's off-campus so it's quiet but it's also super close to Walmart, TJMaxx, etc. I get my own bathroom and bedroom at a low rate. Strongly recommend!
Very pleased with apartment and staff so far. Any maintenance requests were resolved in a timely manner. There hasn’t been much noise or any other sort of complications.
The pointe is a very good place to live especially because the convenient shuttle to school and down. It takes very short time everyday for waiting a VE or V shuttle to school.
It's a nice place to live. The only issue is the administration, who does not seem to care at all. Maintenance issues have gone quite some time without being fixed
So far I really love the Pointe. I didn’t know most of my roommates before moving in and now we’re all friends. I like the building I’m in and my experience has been great so far. Sometimes the upstairs neighbors can be a little loud but otherwise than that everything is amazing!
Had trouble with parking in the past. My car was towed outside my apartment, when my pass was clearly visible. The apartment itself is nice, and the amenities are great, except the pool table and ping pong table can only be used when the rental office is open.
Plz fix my water damage its been over a year. I've been here 3 years and been a loyal tenant and ive dealt with so many people to get my water damage fixed
It’s great! I like the gym and my room is very nice. Me and my cat are very happy here! There’s also an awesome study space at the clubhouse, I feel very productive to sit down there with a cup of tea!
I have really liked the place, it is quiet, beautiful and the people at the office are really nice :). I like all the activities that are done at The Pointe.
The apartment and amenities are good for what I need. Some issues concerning appliances have come up recently and it was a hassle to get it taken care of
It’s been ehhh living here. For the first two months our dryer was broken and our washer flooded. It wasn’t fixed until they did inspections and found a birds nest in the filter. Our fridge is missing shelves, which has never been fixed. The beds are super cheap memory foam beds that cause me back pain. Overall, not the worst place, but definitely could use some improvements.
I like having my own room and having utilities such as a washer and dryer in the apartment. I think the staff are friendly but overworked. The internet could be better but overall a good experience.
Apartment was very messy, and appeared as if it had not been cleaned in months. The staff is not at all helpful. Maintenance people are nice.
My apartment I had many problems with appliances. Our fridge was missing a shelf, our microwave handle broke, a cabinet door easily fell off and still has not been fixed even though we were told it would be, our washer and dryer were both broken when we arrived.
Overall, I am satisfied with the staff here. Everyone is very helpful and cooperative, especially in the office.
I am disappointed in the inspection of our apartment. We were told to expect you within a week to inspect, then it got pushed back another week, and then you didn't inspect our place until 3 weeks after we were notified. Very unorganized and misleading.
Honestly I cannot think of a better place I'd want to live. The location is perfect for shopping, the bus route is the most convenient in town, plus private rooms and bathrooms! The only issue is that the walls and floors/ceilings are paper thin and you hear everything.
Great experience! The neighborhood is nice and it is found in a very convenient location - can get a little loud at times but overall a good experience.
No complaints at this point, reminders are sent out for when rent is due which is really helpful when you get caught up in schoolwork throughout the month.
Very nice, friendly people / staff, but not all the appliances work well, some of the furniture is not that nice. I love having my own room and bathroom. Overall, I would recommend it, but no where is perfect in a college town.
So far, things are going very well. For what you pay, having your own bedroom and bathroom is unmatched. Service is great and the staff is very friendly
I’ve had a great experience at the Pointe and the staff has been so helpful towards myself and my roommates! I completely suggest anyone move in here it is well worth the experience!
The Pointe is a great place to live. I love that the bus stop is so close and so many stores are within walking and driving distance. The gym and pool are unbeatable and there is no where in state college with rooms as big or nice as the pointe.
A lot of great amenities planning on renewing for a third year. Wish the pool was heated and more people would use it but the whole outside are and gym are very nice. The rooms a great being furnished and almost everything included
Overall nice but some hiccups here and there. The maintenance staff also seems to take their time when it comes to responding to requests as I have yet to get my patio light fixed
I've really enjoyed the amenities here so far and the furniture in my room is in really good shape. Our refrigerator was broken since we've moved in but the maintenance replaced it with a brand new one for us, which is so nice.
Bedroom and bathroom size is great, having a balcony off the common area is a nice bonus! Maintenance was very slow the first month but after that they were very responsive! Our dryer was broken and they replaced it within a week of us putting in the request
The apartment is nice sized for the price and everything works well, even if it's a little outdated. However my bedroom was not clean when I moved in, and there were dirty clothes in my dresser. The maintenance staff are fast to respond to requests. Great place to live if you don't mind a little cleaning.
Love it. The ISP is occasionally on the fritz but overall good. Free coffee at the club house is great for having a place to study that is outside of the apartment if a change of scenery is needed.
This survey is unnecessarily complicated. I completed the survey on the J. Turner website and they gave me this code: "GSLFALL2019" and directed me to come to this website and submit it. It is not clear where to submit it. Otherwise, living at the Pointe is pretty chill.
Living her is great!! From the amenities to the WONDERFUL staff members! The Community Assistants are so helpful whenever I need help! The maintenance guys are great too!
Nice amenities, computers in the lab are very fast. Good food events throughout the semester (weenie wednesday). Neighbors are very noisy at night during quiet hours.
The staff at The Pointe have been friendly and welcoming, So far at the pointe I have been loving my privacy and the amenities they provide! the maintenance staff could be better when it comes to updating our tickets but other than that it's been nice!
The furniture was dirty and some things were not in good shape but other than that everything else was great. It was a smooth fast process and all the community members were nice.
The apartment I live in is nice because I have my own bedroom and my own bathroom. I like that I have the ability to have a covered parking spot as well. I feel maintenance requests take awhile to be fulfilled, but other than that I am happy.
Customer service is great!! The staff and employees are very happy and helpful. The community is safe and welcoming and a wonderful area. It has great amenities such as a gym included with a sauna, machines, virtual work out classes, an outside pool, etc!
I like how it is quiet most of the time and the privacy of the bathroom and bedroom. Maintenance stole our stuff when they redid the floors though.
The community here is very nice but doesn't really have a lot of events. The fitness and basketball court facilities are definitely a plus. The main negative I have is the maintenance/cleaning request system for this community. I hasn't let me submit another request after my first one.
The Pointe at state college is an awesome place to live for penn staters! You get free parking, a washer, dryer, dishwasher, your own bedroom and private bathroom, and tons of amenities at the clubhouse! The only downside is riding the bus to campus, but even if you lived downtown you would probably take the WL or BL, and you can always get a parking pass on campus.
My experience here has been great I have lived here for 3 years now and have been very pleased. I just wish we still had a tanning bed, I love the pool and the club house, especially the new renovation it looks great.
I give the Pointe a 3/5 star review because the apartments are not very clean prior to moving in. Our apartment was COVERED in cat hair had many spider webs, plus my roommates walls were covered in mold. Once we cleaned the place up it wasn't bad, I just feel like it'll never be completely clean. Also the paper work and applying at a certain time for a lease caused some problems. Besides that, we don't have many complaints. The people are very helpful and do everything they can.
Nice and close to campus, nice amenities. Nice to have own personal bedroom and bathroom. The staff could do a better job of answering maintenance requests.
Nice complex. Super quiet... The staff is always nice and polite. Apartment is clean and beds are amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone who asks
Love living here. My college experience wouldn't have been as great if I had lived anywhere else. Own bedroom and bathroom, free parking, amazing staff, couldn't ask for anything else.
i love it here! so many nice amenities, such as the beautiful pool and the gym, but my favorite has to be the sauna! just a short ride to campus too!
The Pointe is very clean and has so many perks. I love living here and I love having my own bedroom and bathroom! The internet is not great, but the staff works really hard to keep everything straight for the residence.
Comfortable and stuffs are very outgoing and enthusiastic. When i first move in, my window blind was broken and i didn't use the repair paper. However, workers repair it for me on weekends.
Ive enjoyed living at the Pointe thus far, the grounds are beautiful & I love the resident area (gym, computer room, lounge, etc). However, when my roommates and I moved in, the inside of our apartment was filthy and run down. I scrubbed layers of grease off all of the cabinets, it was nasty. Its obvious the outside of the building was the important part to whoever built these units, the inside was assembled without quality in mind. For example, the caulking around the bathtub barley touches the tub, it was slapped on on top of dirt & filth. Also, when I moved in there was no towel rods & many lights were burnt out. These repairs have still yet to be done.
The Pointe is a great place to live while in State College! You have your own bedroom and bathroom, full kitchen and washer and dryer. You have a personal balcony and fully furnished apartment! The complex is only minutes from State College and you receive a bus pass!
Happy to live here! The staff has been very helpful to any questions I have, move in was way quicker than I planned on it being. Very safe and well lit at night
Only complaint is the wifi going down a few times. The it goes back up fairly quickly though which is nice. Other than that I’ve enjoyed being here so far
Nice Staff and nice environment, but the maintenance request online needs to be improved. Also, it would be better to have more visitor parking so that my visitors don't have to wait a long time to park.
I really enjoy having my own bedroom and bathroom, unfortunately it is just not well maintained by bathtub has caulking that was places over mold that was growing in the cracks and part of the base board is rotted from the moisture. Additionally our kitchen light only turns on occasionally because of faulty wiring, which is a fire hazard, and the carpets were not cleaned before move in, I cleaned them myself and the water was black from the amount of dirt. Disgusting.
The Pointe is in a very nice location and is good for the price point. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because my apartment was not very clean on move in day. Other than that living here is very enjoyable.
Personally, it’s been a little below average. I have found that the management is very poor. The grounds are nice and location is perfect for me
I enjoy everything about this place. The quietness is something I especially wanted. Location and price is really good. No outstanding negatives I can think of.
Super cool palace and the fitness room is fascinating. If there can be more visitor parking lot, it will be better!!! The room here is nice and has different plan for you to choose.
i really like living here! getting to campus is easy and convenient, my room is really nice and comfortable. perfect place for living away from home for the first time!
Nice place to be if you like a quiet neighborhood during the week. Manny places around if you need to go shopping. Quick drive to campus. Pet friendly!
It's not a big deal but I don't know if I can help you with the details of the time I get home and let you know if I can help you with this but I can get you a copy of the invoice
You get more for the price than living downtown (own bedroom, bathroom), if you are okay with commuting a bit (about 15 mins) to get to campus. The same thing downtown would cost around $850. They are very strict with parking if you don't have a permit (people are always getting towed) even though there are always plenty of free spots open. Visitor parking gets limited on the weekend, so if someone comes to visit they will often have to park somewhere else and walk to your apartment.
Overall, I've had a very nice first couple of weeks. I had locked myself out of my apartment at one point and found it very easy to get a key to get back in. Only thing I'm having a problem with is the maintenance takes a very long time to complete even if you put it as an emergency.
Overall a decent experience so far. General appearance and function of the apartments meets expectations except for a few things. The internet is terrible - not only have there been frequent outages, but the quality or speed of it when it even is working can hardly maintain a simple loading of a video. It's frustrating that I am paying for a service that doesn't work. Second would be the quality of the water. I don't know if there are just a lot of minerals in the water, but it is substantially murky when it comes out of the faucet and doesn't look healthy to drink without the use of a filter. Lastly without being too picky, would be the overall quality of the apartment on move in. Generally it was okay, but there were a lot of little things that seemed to be overlooked.
Love the community and the placement. The landscaping is very well taken care of. Apartment cleaning is not very well when you moved in but overall apartments are pretty nice!
It has been alright. At this point I am solely typing for the sake of getting points. I understand you want "feedback in order to improve your renter's experience." But let's be honest, nothing is going to change either way.
It is a nice facility.. Poorly built though, lots of Cracks in foundation and messy paint Taking the bus to class is not ideal but manageable. The best part is having your own room and bedroom
Really great apartment. Love the privacy. Reasonable price for the amenities/location/living space. The office has lots of activities and maintenance has always done a good job.
This is a great place to live and easy to get to campus. The staff is great and very helpful. I would highly recommend this place to a friend.
The reason I chose to live at The Pointe was because of the amenities. I love having a private room and bathroom, washer and dryer, full kitchen and free parking.
I love living here. The rooms are great. My roommates are fun . I don’t know why I didn’t live here before now. This place is amazing you guys
It is a really good place to live! You will definitely have things repaired quickly, lots of activities to win the gift card, and lots of intersting people you will meet.
My first thought when I move in , A little small for two person comparing to other neighborhood
But it is close to Walmart and other many stores, it is convenience for living.
I think we need some activities to get involved, I know there were some, but I don’t think much people went, I really want to meet people and make new friends, also I am a international student, hope there is some international students activity hah.
I have had a great time living here. I love that there is yard space right outside of my apartment. The bus stop is also super convenient. I also enjoy the amenities.
Everything is nice since I moved in last year. One possible weakness could be that sometimes the hot water is not that hot when taking shower:)
Best place to live. Having your own bedroom and bathroom in a quiet yet fun environment is great. The staff and maintenance are very easy to get in contact with and always happy to help.
I absolutely Love it! The apartments are clean and spacious. The employees at the front desk are friendly and helpful. Also, maintenance always comes within decent time of the problem reported and fixes it.
The apartments are nice in that they are a good price for what they are, however, the busses (location) is not too good. Also, the staff and maintenance crew do not seem to worry about the resident's needs a whole lot, as a some of our requests/complaints get ignored.
When I arrived my room was disgustingly dirty, my bathtub was black. After I’ve bleached everything it’s a little better. I told
The office about the condition of my room and they never did anything about it. The washing mashing was full of hair from the previous people. Along the edging of my room there was so much dirt and hair it was black.
Office is really nice! There were a couple problems with the apartment but overall pretty nice experience! The pool and community area is really nice to have!
I have really enjoyed living at the pointe so far. It’s a great location with fantastic amenities and staff who are always willing to help when you have problems or questions.
It’s not bad here. Better than most places. However it can be improved in few ways. Not as clean as you want but not horrible. Laundry systems tend to break.
I actually am having a great time at the Pointe. I wish it was closer to campus but that's not the apartment's fault. If you guys had a way to connect all of the aprtment's so that we could know where parties are at, that would be amazing. But honestly, this place is pretty cool and not worrying about furniture kept me around for another year.
A nice place to live with a full package amenity. The community environment is nice too. I just wish my apartment is closer to the bus stop.
The rooms are spacious, but many of our appliances were dirty and some were broken. Our kitchen and bathrooms were very dirty as well. Our stove burner was broken
Love the staff. Quiet community. I wish there can be more visitor parking spaces. Also, it’s better to have each room control their own air conditioner.
Living at the pointe for the past 3 years has been the best decision I’ve made at PSU! From the pool, gym, computer room, and the rest of the amenities to having my own bathroom and room, my stay at the pointe has made my college experience memorable
Good location making it easy to get to campus in the mornings, friendly residents and roommates making it easy to live here however dryer broke within the first week
My experience has been great here at The Pointe! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the location is the perfect distance from campus.
Friendly leasing staff, efficient check-in, good neighbors. The only complaint would be that the apartment wasn't very clean when we moved in and it took us the whole weekend to clean it up.
Apartment is nice, however room was not thoroughly cleaned upon move-in. Dirt, stains, crumbs, etc. to be found throughout room/bathroom.
Other then that, nice area and community.
The pointe is a great place to live. Even though it is far from campus the amenities make it worth the commute. The staff is always friendly and willing to help you with whatever you may need
The office staff are great. They're very quick to help with any issues. Check in went smooth. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was how dirty my apartment was at move in. My bathtub was filthy. However, it only took a few applications of bathroom cleaner and some scrubbing to resolve, but that just makes it look like the cleaners maybe didn't even scrub it once.
Great place to live, however moving in the apartments are dirty and typically need some good cleaning before stuff can be put away . Love the amenities and the people and everyone is very helpful
The pointe is pretty nice. Could be cleaner. It is a quite neighborhood usually not too much noise. I like having my dog at school with me. Staff is friendly
The Pointe is great! Moving in went smoothly and it was very clean. the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. the complex is also in a great part of town
Our move in day was very smooth with the organized set up. However, we were unsatisfied with the cleanliness of our rooms. overall it has been a good experience so far!
the pointe has great amenities for the people living here. the pool is great in the summer and I enjoy playing volleyball on the sand courts
the pointe is a very nice and convenient place to live. it only takes about 6 mins to get the walmart. also, it is so convenient to take the bus to campus.
Great interior. Im verry happy with everything I’ve seen so far. My only complain about the apartment is the weird hallway leading to the bedroom
The Pointe has amenities that, for the price, can't be beat. The office and maintenance staff are also very helpful and have accommodated me and my roommates with several issues.
convenient bus transportation to campus. Love having my own bathroom and bedroom for a great rate compared to the cost at other living communities for the same thing.
The entir staff is so friendly and everything is renewed and very well organized! The price is very reasonable also without great furnishings!
Get and caring people! Great staff as well. Always seems to care about the tenants and are very helpful. I also like the many events the pointe advertises
The staff are super helpful, and the location is quite convenient. Pretty much everything is within walking distance, and the free bus pass along with the community perks helps a lot too!
Very helpful, sent all information needed to set up insurance, rent payments, utility payments, bus pass, and everything else in a timely manner! Were also very helpful when we wanted to switch roommates.
I have no complaints other than the renewal process. I renewed because it was advertised as easy and effortless, and instead my daily life has been interrupted by turnover. Maintenance, cleaners, employees, etc have been here daily, at all hours. 8:30pm is not an appropriate time to be entering peoples homes. They came 4 separate times in one day. And on top of that, they do not follow the lease policy for entering. They knock and come right in, or don’t knock at all. I had cleaners let themselves in who only introduced themselves when they heard me coming out, two random men standing in my kitchen. I have heard the exact same complaint from other residents. It is beyond unprofessional as a leasing company and should have been addressed on day one.
Pretty good. Maintenance is always nice and quick to fix issues. Having your own bedroom and bathroom is really nice. Apartments are in goodness’s condition
The apartment itself is great, but the staff have been more and more frustrating as maintenance requests have piled up and not been answered. I believe this is a fluke, but it is still very upsetting.
So far so good. I haven't met many people yet, but the amenities are great and everything is going well with my roommates. I'm still figuring out the bus pass, insurance, and utilities payments, but other than that things are going smoothly!
The apartment complex is very nice, the rooms and shared living area have good furniture. The amenities that are provided are well kept. It is very convenient having a gym on site and not having to pay a monthly membership to attend one or go to the on campus gym.
Living in the Pointe is an amazing opportunity that I could not pass up! As an incoming Junior, I will have a hard time imagining living anywhere else my Senior year.
I haven’t started living here yet, but by what I have seen The Pointe seems amazing! Can’t wait to live there in a month. All the amenities look great and my floor plan (2x2) is a great option bc of more privacy
Not bad. Tad bit dirty on move in day but quiet community with your own room and bathroom. The walls are little thin inside the apartment and once in a while we would have things break. But maintenance staff is pretty good and do respond fast.
I have only visited the apartment 3 or 4 times so far and was very impressed at how nice everything is kept around the area. Looking forward to staying here for the next year.
Easy access to everything needed. The only thing that isn’t provided is a diagram showing which room is a,b,c, or d. Email notifications are frequent and helpful.
Overall I have enjoyed living here. The facilities are nice, and I really like the layout of the rooms. The coffee in the clubhouse is also super convenient. The staff are very helpful and maintenance requests are handled in a timely fashion. The only negatives I have are that the walls are a little thin, so you sometimes get a little noise and they could have done a better job cleaning before move-in. All in all, I would recommend living here.
Its a place to live nothing more nothing less. Maintenance is slow and they will tell you they will be back to finish the job and never come back. Rent is too high, and leaves you feeling ripped off.
It could be way better I think. I believe this complex needs huge upgrades style and technology-wise. Many buildings need to be redone and newly furnished.
Everyone has been been super helpful with the leasing process! I would highly recommend as an off campus housing choice. The pool is super nice and the gym is great eat great!
I have not seen The Pointe yet but I am very excited for move - in. The amenities are great and the stuff included, like the bus pass, is awesome. The reward program is pretty cool too. Overall very excited for The Pointe.
The Pointe has been great! I enjoy the space I have, especially having my own bedroom and bathroom. Amenities included are also great. Staff has been helpful throughout the entire leasing process.
Living in The Pointe is a great experience. The environment is so relaxed and inviting, the staff are wonderful, the residents are friendly. Overall, a great place to live
Good amenities and location. Close to many stores but out of downtown traffic. Office staff is quick to respond and helpful even outside of business hours.
It has been a pleasant experience choosing the Pointe at State College for apartments. Although I was not able to have a room tour, the staff made sure to provide all the info I needed.
So far I haven’t even moved in yet but I’m already enjoying the preparation and planning. I’ve waited two years to be up at main campus and I’m looking forward to finally living a collegehood lifestyle.
We love it so far! Very comfortable unit, friendly staff, responsive maintenance, and many recent improvements and upgrades to the common areas. Also seems to be a great value for the most perfect Rittenhouse location!
The Pointe is amazing. Hands down the best place I have lived in the past 4 years of undergrad. The staff is so friendly and the perks and convenience of living here are truly unmatched.
I don't know, I haven't moved in yet. It looks like a good place to live, but I'm just trying to reach my one hundred and forty character limit.
Seems to be nice. The roommate selection process was very smooth and worked out how it should have. I cannot wait to move in. Looking forward to it.
The community is a great one to live in, Its clean and maintained well. Its only my first year living here and I already want to come back. The apartments are a good size for an individual just starting to become independent
Well sinve I haven't live here, I can’t really tell the good or bad...but I do received lots of kind email from Pointe. And my friends says it’s a nice place. I wish so.
The staff is very courteous, and helpful. The apartments are clean and well maintained. I would recommend the Pointe to anyone looking for housing at State College.
It has everything I need here and everyone is so friendly, I wouldn’t picture myself living anywhere else! It is the perfect distance from campus.
The pointe has been very timely in responding to any questions I've had and I cant wait to get moved in. I've only heard good things about the apartments
The Pointe facility is very nice and people are friendly, however the leasing process has had numerous bits of information that were not completely communicated to us and that were not less than pleasing. All in all becoming a resident has been fairly straight forward.
Good quality for a good price. I love having my own bathroom. I also love how the pointe organizes community activities so you can get to know other people who live there.
It was a great time filled with a fun experience that opened me up to new friends in an environment that gave me a fun filled year up at State College
These apartments seem very nice. I don’t move in until the end of August but I am excited. The reasons I chose the pointe to live include having my own bedroom and bathroom and the fact that it allows pets.
I did not have a good experience living here at all. The actual staff, not the CAs, are so rude and annoying. I've been charge for stupid things that were out of my control. I put in service request only to get ignored most of the time. Its also VERY, VERY, VERY, overpriced for complete TRASH. I will not recommend this complex to anyone.
The pointe is a great place to live. It is always very clean and if you need anything fixed in your apartment ( appliances, light bulb changes) they usually do it in one business day!
Very good experience here, nice people, good atmosphere. Clean apartment and the rooms are furnished very well. The living area is also extremely nice as well and love living here
It was nice, the apartments and rooms were nice. It was too far away from campus and was a little too expensive, but it wa still very nice. More events needed.
The staff are super helpful when I have any questions. They are very understanding that their residents are in college as well. I enjoy the pool area and the living situations. (Own room/bath)
i live here 3 years in a row. I love the place. People are super caring. The staff are fun. There are diversity in the neighborhood. I also play pokemon go and there are a lot of pokemons here
Great staff who are very helpful but the pointless $299 fee every year is kind of annoying. I have had a great experience and like living here.
I don’t currently live there yet, but I have only heard wonderful things about it. I had a few friends who lived there and I always loved to visit. The places are super spacious.
This property is beautiful, filled with amenities, and perfect for college. I especially love the 1:1 bed bath ratio which is nice for added privacy.
The maintenance request system never works. When it does, requests can take weeks to be filled. Our apartment has flooded 3 times and we've had mold twice. Requests are not filled in a timely manner.
It’s great! The people who work here are so helpful! Being a new resident I thought would be hard, but the staff has made it so easy to transition from Berks to University Park!
I enjoy the pointe very much! However somethings I find to be a bit crazy. Management does not seem to care much and they do not take responsibility for anything. The apartments can be nice. It all depends.
Not living here during the summer so 9-month leases would be amazing, please. However, your staff is always quick to send someone to fix something with is great.
Great experience! I think it is a wise way to use the amazon! This is my first time join this community and it really works! May others like it !
I love living here! I lived at a different complex during my junior year and HATED it! Moving here was so nice; getting my own bedroom and bathroom, spacious common area and nice kitchen! Not to mention all the amenities on the property! The only problem is that my room wasn't very clean when I moved in, but the staff was quick and very helpful in resolving this issue!
Living at the pointe has been one of my best decisions at Penn State! Having my own room and bathroom with easy bus transportation to campus has made the past 3 years at PSU a breeze.
The Pointe is a great community to be apart of. The space is great, the management is ver knowledgeable and willing to help. The rooms are great and yeah it’s all around great.
It is a good and beautiful place. We can use the gym, study room, computer room, basketball room and swimming pool. I love pointe, like my second home.
Apartment is perfect for what I need and want. Quiet community with all amenities I need. Free parking is a bonus. Love having the pool especially.
Located away from the downtown atmosphere, however good location and not too far from campus. Friendly staff and good amenities, as well as pet friendly.
Over pretty solid apartments. The stuff that comes with the apartments is usable but not the in the best condition all the time. I have found the internet to be shotty.
I love living at The Pointe! The amenities are top notch, as well as the service! I love having my own bedroom and bathroom, and a common area to share with my roommates!
Great apartment for the price definitely good value. However not the cleanest roommates and not the best matching system. Overall pretty good experience
I love The Pointe. I have been living there for a year now. It’s a great place for students, very quiet, wifi and parking are included. I would definitely recommend.
Overall very nice but could improve on communication a bit. Most of the emails we get are ads about things that nobody cares about so more direct communication and less nonsense would be nice
Its nice and clean here and i enjoy the staff who works here because they are very helpful to me. The apartment here is nice and clean. Everything is new and the bathrooms here are nice and tidy. So far i would recommend this place to anyone looking to live in a clean and nice environment. The bus is a bit far but otherwise everything is a nice distance.
I have yet to live at the pointe, however I am very excited to take advantage of all the amenities the property. I can't wait to live there this fall!
The apartments are well kept and clean. The pointe is very close to everything i need and to campus. The pool area is very nice and kept very clean.
Very nice place in all. The staff is very friendly and helpful at times but they do their best to get you questions answered. The only really problem is maintenance, sometimes they get your request and other times you're not sure. But other than that the amount of parking, the bus routes and the placement of the complex are really nice!
Terrible. The key cards always deactivate and has inconvenienced me many times. During the fall and spring semester we should of been told which days there was going to be construction on Atherton and the times because it has in-convinced many many people and made many of us late. The summer CATA bus schedule is inadequate, I have work at 7 AM and there is no bus to get me to campus on time, forcing me to spend money to get to work. When the yoga room was redone it was not cleaned properly afterwards so there was a lot of particles left over and dust in the air that was bad for us to be breathing in. There's a pool table and pool balls in the club house but no pool sticks. I don't know why the pool area has been closed off since all the snow and ice is gone. I can't use the out door furniture to sit outside on a nice day which is frustrating. Compared to other complexes, the expresso machine doesn't taste good its not quality and I was surprised to see there are no cups to use for it and disappointed in the "free printing" but you need your own paper. I was also disappointed to see that you can't connect to aux in the gym like many other places allow you to do.
Overall nice amenities, however the rooms were alittle cramped and applianced were alittle dated. Would of been nice to have the pool opened earlier in the year.
I have enjoyed my experience so far. The neighborhood and area are nice, the staff and management are responsive, and really decent amenities.
I really like the pointe because it is clean and quiet. The bus stop is also convinient and the ammenities are good. I also like the speed of the internet.
Pretty nice place in terms of living. It's nice to have your own bathroom and room, and the fact that it comes furnished is ideal. Fairly close to campus, so that's nice as well.
Maintenance is okay and It’s hard to get in contact with someone that can take care of your leasing issues. The property is nice it could be held up better.
I had a great experience at The Pointe. I thought that the pool area was always clean and taken care of which is something that isn't really done at other residential local locations.
I have lived here for one year now... and I love it. They have a great sense of community and are always willing to help should you need it. I highly recommend coming to check out this family-like environment!
The Pointe is a great place to live. Lived there for two years and enjoyed all of it. It’s great to have your own room and bathroom and is fairly priced for all the amenities that come with it.
This place was okay in general. It could be alot better if it was more clean. There can be alot of little spiders in like every room, but other then that its bad.
The apartment itself is great, and the amenities are wonderful, but the community is lacking. There are extremely inconsiderate residents here and the staff seem to not care most of the time.
I love the circumstance here. The view is so good！！the apartment is big enough. We may have our own bedroom and own bathroom. The staffs here are nice.
Alodia was a medieval Nubian kingdom in what is now central and southern Sudan. Its capital was Soba, near modern-day Khartoum at the confluence of the Blue and White Nile rivers. In 580 it became a part of the Christian world, following the other two Nubian kingdoms, Nobadia and Makuria. Alodia reached its peak during the 9th–12th centuries, when it exceeded its northern neighbor and close ally, Makuria, in size, military power and economic prosperity. A large, multicultural state, Alodia was ruled by a powerful king and provincial governors appointed by him. Soba was a prosperous town and trading hub, and literacy in Nubian and Greek flourished. Goods arrived from Makuria, the Middle East, western Africa, India and even China. Alodia began a slow decline in the 12th century, possibly because of invasions from the south,
Maintenance requests have made my experience worse. Sometimes when I submit them, they take days to finally be fulfilled. Several things have needed to be repaired in my apartment this year.
I love it here I love the food days and I love the staff they are very attentive and willing to solve any issues that may come up in the apartment
I like the environment in the Pointe because I can walk around after dinner. Near to the bus station and the office staff are really helpful.
It’s a good apartment complex, although it is a decent ways away from downtown. The apartments are nice with a lot of space, and you’re right next to Walmart and other food places.
Great rooms, shared spaces, and community! A little far from campus and really wish they offered something other than 1-year leases. The management could be a little nicer as well.
The Pointe is a really nice place to stay. The pool is my favorite part. It is very close to a ton of places, like Wegmans and Target. The rooms are very cozy.
the community is always very well kept and clean, I love the different colored buildings and all the amenities that are available. The apartments are mostly well made, however my apartment was very dirty before I moved in so they should be cleaned better for new residents.
The pointe is a great location to live at. It is close to campus and they offer a bus pass for several local routes. The gym is great and so is the clubhouse. And management is great about contacting residents about inspections and construction updates! 10/10 would recommend.
Great Place to live, a good amount of distance from campus to feel connected to the great culture! Football games are great and the people around campus are even better!
The apartments a nice and the overall complex is nice.parking is a little tight at my building bc there are 4 that all feed to the same lot.
Think the overall experience has been great. The only thing that was annoying were the painters during the first semester. I feel like the staff is great and very helpful.
It’s mostly clean, sometimes maintenance requests take a long time to fulfill but generally it’s a nice place to live. The internet is usually pretty fast but recently it’s been slow.
The apartment has been great the past few months, ive had no issues paying rent or putting in requests. Planning to stay here through the remainder of college
I moved in here because the previous place I was at was bad. I'm so much more happier here. Great facilities and management is good and very welcoming.
Nice, friendly, and quite place to live. Great for a university student since it had different facilities in it and a great location with markets near it.
The apartments are very spacious and provide a great quiet place to live in. When we had an issue at the apartment maintenance came within a few days of the request!
I enjoy it there! I renewed my lease. But I feel like the management is poor they do not care about the residence. The snow care is awful. They are all about the money
The Pointe is a really nice place to live. They also provide a lot of different services. Overall, I am looking forward to living there with my friends.
Customer service will be very patient to answer questions, the speed of reply is also very timely. Although I have not checked in yet, the last time I went to see the room type, I felt that the environment and the staff's attitude were quite good. And the price is not more expensive than other places, the most important is the room is also very warm and comfortable.
Haven’t moved in yet but I’m excited to move in. The staff seems wonderful. The amenities are what sold me, they look amazing. And the design and look of the apartments are really beautiful
Clean and quiet apartment complex with a pool, gym, and bus stop. Close to shops and restaurants, but only a short drive away from downtown State College!
Love the atmosphere here at the pointe and all the amenities that are here. The staff is very generous and helpful. Its nice to have your own bathroom.
It’s been great living here! The staff is kind and usually on top of stuff. I feel safe and comfortable. My room needs new carpets and there’s a lot of mold but hey nothing perfect
There is really friendly staff always willing to help. I love all the amenities and I recommend the pointe to all my friends. Maintenance is excellent. Literally no complaints!
Location is great and the apartments are nice. Personal bathrooms and washer/dryer at your convenience. Staff is very nice. The pool is an awesome plus!
I still think the Pointe is the best. Better than the bryn and tremont. I experienced some difficulties with my bathroom and the maintenance comes right away to fix it. That is great.
Great living experience. Love the pointe love everything love my roommate. CATABUS come very often but I will not be living here next year. Bye
The apartments are nice and I like having my own room and bathroom, but the walls are very thin so it is easy to hear the people above us. As a whole, I am very pleased with the staff because of how they try to engage everyone and constantly update us with what is going on at The Pointe.
I love The Pointe Apartments. I like the fact that give out free food and organize a lot of activities. The only thing I don’t like is that there’s no one bedroom apartments
I love having my own room and bathroom. The location is okay but the room inspections are such an invasion of privacy. So that is why I will NOT renew my lease here or tell anybody I know to live here.
Kind staff, awesome amenities, great living environment, quick responses for any requests, interactive living environment, overall very comfortable place to reside.
The Pointe is the only student living place I’ve lived in postgrad and I’m glad I did. I give insight to them while hey still manage to teach me things daily. I approve
Love it here! Lots of activities and events on throughout the semesters. The gym, sauna and pool are great ways to make and spend time with friends.
It’s a bit noisy. Upstairs is always stomping. However, neighborhood is great. Seemingly safe. Maintanence is fast and does as needed. It’s pretty nice and convenient.
Awesome place to live awesome place to stay. Got to live near my friends and hang with them. Bus trips isn’t too bad. Room is alright, can’t complain either.
I couldn't ask for a better apartment. My only issue with the place is that my upstairs neighbors are very loud, but other than that, this place rules.
The apartment complex is really clean and looks really nice. However there sometimes isn’t enough parking. Love having my own room and bathroom, and an in unit washer and dryer. The location is great because of stores but it isn’t great for going out at night.
I haven’t really lived here yet, but you know, I’m trying to collect these points so I can get an amazon gift card. It’s one peri that I like about the pointe so far :)
The location is nice as well as the price. The insulation isn't very good though so the air conditioning or heat always has to be running to cool or heat the apartment which can really increase the utilities bill. There are also things such as our stovetop which is curved which makes it difficult to cook certain foods. My sink also leaks.
The Pointe is awesome!! A must stay if you're looking for the best possible place around! Great amenities, quiet community, and beautiful apartments.
I very much love this community. It has all the amenities that i need and it is very clean and quiet. The free food is also very well and convenient
The neighbors are disgusting and loud they leave trash in the hallway and have no regard for others. The steps are still broken in the front of the fifth building.
Overall, I like living at the pointe. Its spacious and quiet, but there could be some improvements. maintenance is not the quickest to come fix things, and sometimes communication between staff is not great. I had to email my emotional support dog paperwork about 3 times until everyone who needed to be aware of it was aware. They charged me pet fees because the correct people were not aware of what was going on.
I have a great experience being a resident of The Pointe. My favorite feature was the pool. I thought the staff was super helpful with transferring my lease to a new tenant which can normally be a very stressful process.
I love the food and the nachos. The staff is very helpful and the maintenance is very timely. I wish there was a community garden though! Thanks
Love having own bed/bath, and w/d in unit. Good condition, around a lot of good restaurants and stores.. bus system not great at accommodating # of students and not great timing
The pointe is a great place for college kids the only problem is the distance but the bus accomadates that. Its farily cheap and the staff is nice the room inspections are kinda of excessive though.
Love the amenities, only complaint is just the location not being closer to campus but it’s super convenient being close to Walmart and other shops.
Love having my own bedroom/bathroom. Room was a little dirty when I moved in but management handled it very well. I love using the pool when it’s open and the clubhouse gym is perfect for me!
Not bad a little over priced. The amenities are nice when the printer is working but I like the free hot cocoa and coffee. The rooms are nice also
Great location, is near all of the restaurants and isn't too far from campus, pricing is a little expensive for what you get especially considering you live with 3 other people, but the rooms and maintenance are pretty nice, living here for 4 semesters
I enjoy living here. There are plenty of amenities for the price, and the location is great. The apartment was a little dirty when we moved in, but it wasn't much trouble to clean.
Love how clean and well-kept the Pointe is. However, my maintenance problems have taken months at times to be answered. Overall, I have loved my experience living here and would recommend the Pointe.
It was a great experience. I enjoyed the environment. Only thing I didn’t like was the CATA bus. It was always late or it would pass me by even when I was running to the stop.
The Pointe is a decent place to live for the price. Compared to other off campus apartments for students, it has great amenities, such as free parking, a washer, dryer, dishwasher, pool, clubhouse, and events to participate in. However, it was very dirty when we first moved in, they seem to always be doing paint touch ups, and it is very moist inside.
Staff are friendly and helpful. When needed maintenance, I received the proper help I needed. However, the apartment needs a little updating.
The Pointe is okay. It’s expensive and far away from campus for the price. The interior of my apartment is very run down. They say they inspect them each summer but I don’t believe that. I chose The Pointe because I get my own bedroom and bathroom.
The pointe apartments has been a great experience for me. I enjoy the layout of the apartments a lot especially having my own bathroom. The staff and maintenance are very helpful.
It's pretty nice here other than the distance from campus. The VE is probably the greatest bus of the ones That go to off campus housing in the area
I have been in a few units at the Pointe and while there have been some issues (to be expected), my overall experience has been good. They offer things that I really look for, e.g. personal bed/bath and W/D in unit.
Hearing problems. Management unable to help. Few people told me one thing and I talk to manager and they said they won’t help me out finding a roommate. Before signing the lease, the management said they would help but when I need it they backed out.
A good spot to be while not being too far from campus. Being close to a supermarket like walmart is enough of an incentive for me! Make use of the bus
the pointe is phenomenal. Great pool area and club house very clean and nice community. Not too far from campus as well i can’t wait to live here again
Overall, the living quality at the pointe is good. The house are nearly the same us the sample house they show us in the clubhouse. The gym and study room are very nice.
Overall a decent apartment for the price. It is in walking distance of Walmart, Trader Joe’s, and a few restaurants. Lots of stores and restaurants on the V line as well
Office staff is friendly and informative, but the apartments are not well furnished. Sink was still dirty and I had to clean it myself. Smoke detector was low battery the other day and went off for 20 min at 1am.
I have lived at the Pointe for two years now and my experience has been great! I truly enjoy the amenities provided along with the great community events.
Overall great community, and great amenities. Higher quality apartments then what you will find downtown, but for the downside of being far away from campus. Biggest issue would be the amount that Pointe Employees come into your apartment, as I’ve already woken up to two employees in my bedroom while I’m sleeping in my underwear at 9am.
It’s a nice setup, not a huge fan of renting an individual room as opposed to splitting the cost of a single apartment, but it’s nice overall.
I love having my own room and my own bathroom. I also like that I can bring a pet if I want to and can use the pool/gym/courts/sauna whenever I want.
I love many things about the pointe. Having my own room and bathroom is my favorite followed by having a bacony to relax. I also enjoy being able to go to the pool and the office for free snacks.
I've had a good experience so far. Whenever I needed something fixed, you guys were always so quick to respond and fulfil my request. I hope next semester is good too.
Location is not prime, but it's not to bad if you have a car. They say the busses run till 2am but not the V, so it takes you forever to get home if you go out and usually end up taking a 13$ Uber.
The community is very nice and I enjoy the gym specifically a lot. I also like how fast maintenence responds to my requests. However when I moved in it was extremely dirty and I did have a bad experience with the office where I feel I had to unfairly pay an extra three hundred dollars.
Here at The Pointe, I love my apartment. I like that I have the privacy of my own bathroom, room and have features like the swimming pool and gym as well as a computer lab
Leasing staff seems to be nice, haven’t had anything faulty in our apartment besides the fact that it was filthy when we moved in and they left us with a broken sofa chair. haven’t had any real issues with maintenance. hard to find parking near our building
Nice quiet most of the time if you don’t like the hustle and bustle of downtown. Close to stores but a little far from campus. Really good place to have a pet as well.
It’s a very nice place to live! Location could just be better. The apartments are kept up very well and Maintenence responds to any requests quickly.
It’s very nice living here, place is spacious, great to have own bathroom, the workers are helpful. Parking is easy but can be hard for visitors to find a spot.
I honestly have very much enjoyed my experience at the pointe and have actually recommended it to others who are planning to go to state college
Great place to live, nice apartments, everyone is friendly. The amenities are amazing and there is always something to do around the complex.
The bus service is great and timely. I love living somewhere quiet and close to the resources of downtown like the WalMart makes grocery shopping sooo easy.
Perfect for 4 people if you don’t mind living a bit farther from campus. Good price for your own room, bathroom, and you get a laundry unit. Each apartment has a balcony or porch so it has a lot of space. Only problem is the distance from campus compared to downtown.
This is a quality place to live for a college student. It might be a little off campus but they provide transportation and the rent is cheap.
Maintenance is really sad...apartments are very dirty upon moving in. I have a huge hole in my wall that I put in a work order for and no one has come to fix it, its been 3 months... I like the location and layout of apartments.
The Pointe has very spacious rooms, your own bathroom, and a nice living room and kitchen. The staff there are very easy to deal with and maintenance requests are answered immediately.
I love the pointe! They were super nice about letting me do a 5 month lease next semester and you get so much for the price. I have my own room and bathroom which is rare.
Great place to live, management is quick and does a good job. Clubhouse is always warm and friendly, gym is always clean. Vomputer room very useful
The best environment to live in. It is great！！I love the
apartment. It is big enough to spend time with friends and roommates. The gym is good.
I think the pointe is a really good place to live due to its location and services. The whole community is really friendly and the houses are pretty good.
I really enjoy having my own bedroom and bathroom and made the choice to renew my lease for the next year! I use the clubhouse multiple times a week and love my free coffee.
Expensive but worth it considering the price. Only real problem is that living in apartment twenty forces you to walk for five minutes to reach bus.
The Pointe responds to issues in a timely manner, and provides a living environment similar to that of a hotel. I can always expect to get home and be met with luxury and sometimes nachos.
The only con is my unit is quite far from bus stop. Everything else is good. The maintenance is very quick, usually within a day. Sound proof between rooms is great but between floor is quite poor.
Since living at the Pointe, I have had a great experience. I really like having my own space and kitchen. The ability to escape from campus is also a great bonus.
The amenities here at The Pointe and very clean and easy to enjoy. Maintenance requests get completed fairly quickly. Most of the residents are pretty friendly.
Really nice apartments, great staff, maintenance is quick to fix issues, nice location (near tons of shopping places, restaurants, and only a few miles away from campus), and tons of amenities!
I have had zero issues with anything at the Pointe and have found Wendy and all of the resident assistants extremely accommodating and friendly. After having had many issues with the Bryn nextdoor, and friends with similar issues at the Tremont nextdoor, I was very wary about living here. But every question or concern I have had has been addressed almost immediately. Most importantly, there have been no issues with rent. They are very upfront about what you need to pay, and as long as you pay it, there are no issues. Everyone at the Pointe was extremely helpful in the renewal process when I had several questions. The complex is well-kept and goes out of its way to provide community experiences to residents.
I love it here. I love the separate bathrooms that everyone gets and the fact you have own laundry so you don’t have to go out to do it. It’s great here.
Friendly staff and good at keeping residents in the loop. Although, the constant renovations to the buildings can be loud and inconvenient. I wish they did that over breaks.
Really nice place to live. Apartments are great with your own bedroom and bathroom for a good rate. Close to campus and a bus pass is provided with the service fee which is really convenient.
Apartments are good. Furniture is dated. Walk to bus stop could be more convienent. I enjoy the activity days such as taco Tuesday or popcorn on mondays.
I am definitely glad I chose to live at The Pointe for my first off-campus experience! The community is nice to live in. This location is not too far from campus at all.
Enjoy the community and amenities offered at the pointe. Unlike the downtown area it is never too loud or rowdy. People are kind and respectful when I encounter them at the gym and pool.
The pointe is a great apartment complex that is in a convenient location close to stores, restaurants and campus. The bus system works well and is easy access to campus!
Living in the Pointe has been amazing! Living in an apartment with your own bedroom and bathroom is nice and being provided a bus pass is even better. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. I would recommend the Pointe to anyone.
The Pointe is in a great location, with some great restaurants and shops nearby. The staff is very nice and the clubhouse is awesome. Roomwise, the windows are a little drafty but the apartments are very cozy.
My experience at The Pointe was nothing less than fantastic. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new apartment. This was a amazing place!
I love how friendly the staff is here and my roommate placement has turned out great! Lots of amenities, but I wish the maintenance was better.
Though living at the Pointe isn't within walking distance of campus for class in the morning, the quality of rooms, bathrooms, and overall living standards paired with the convenient shopping location exceeds the need to be close to campus.
I love living here. Staff is super friendly and very understandable. 10/10! I like having my own room and bathroom.
The computer lab is a great place to study and there is always free printing.
It is a very good apartment complex. They have very attentive staff and they care about all of your needs. They also offer good food and I like that.
I like everything so far I just with they would fix the steps because I don't want to trip and fall every time I go to leave the apartment. Other than that it's just stuff that was already here when we moved in, but everything is pretty much okay
Very nice place to live. Safe community with lots of amenities and offerings to their residents. I really enjoy having my own bedroom and bathroom, and the WiFi so far has been great.
The rooms are very satisfactory and there are no problems with it. The o ly reason there aren't five stars is that my upstairs neighbors are extremely loud and were very rude when confronted about it.
I'm loving the community so far, my only issue has been that it seems like all of the appliances are barely holding together and something else breaks like every week.
The Pointe is a nice complex in state college. The work on the place is mediocre, but staff and strong amenities do it well. Overall a fine place to reside.
Beautiful setting and friendly roommates! My roommates and I do enjoy living together and we cook together and have dinner together. Also, we share the food taken from home. However, the fire alarm makes me really unhappy because I don't know why when I was showering one day, it rang!!! It's horrible!!!!!
Love the Pointe! Great community and wonderful living. The ammentities are awesome, pool when it’s warm, indoor basketball court, gym, sauna, they have it all!
Yeah apartment was pretty dirty when I moved in but it has been a pretty good experience so far. I like the pool and complimentary give aways!
I really enjoy this place because of how spacious it is. The only thing I didn’t like was how dirty it was before we got here and all the noise from workers painting.
Good place for a good price. Close to campus and the buses come often. Renovated the gym and it got a lot better. From what I here definitely a lot better than other places around here.
Really nice place and good community. The kitchen has nice appliances, which was a big plus for me. The only problem I have had so far was I had to clean it before I moved in, but other than that it is a really nice place to live.
This is a great place to live. A lot of people live here and they are all very friendly. The staff is very friendly as well and they will help you with any issues you have
I love how convenient the point is located to shopping and transportation to downtown. Also I have had fast responses to my work order requests and the maintenance personnel have been very thorough and have left notes about what was done when they came in while we were out.
The community itself is amazing, the staff and maintenance is really helpful and is always there when we need them. The quality of the apartments isn’t the best but they are good enough for what a college student needs.
So far, Living at the Pointe has been super comfortable, I never regret coming here, the only problem I had personally was the small toilet but otherwise, living here is awesome! :)
Outside of being a little off campus, The Pointe is wonderful. More space than i thought i'd have The amenities (Pool, Gym, Sauna) make living here that much better.
So far everything has been great. The management is really nice and helpful. They answer all my questions whenever I need to know something important.
overall good, a few lighting/furniture problems when first moving in. the pool/clubhouse area is great. I like getting tea/hot chocolate whenever I want a warm drink and going to the gym is very convenient
Big apartment with your own room and bathroom, free parking, pool, free printing and a free bus pass. Buses don’t run very late so it is frustrating
Very nice overall. Everything is good so far. Haven’t had any problems getting from here too campus. Enjoy the pool and the fitness center. The study room is also very helpful.
It’s great. The people are nice, the apartments are great and it’s a fun, safe community that has lots of great amenities. Lots of friends up here!
There are many great benefits of living here, the pool, food and great bus routes. Maintenance requests are answered quickly and efficiently. The only "issue" is the matter of visitors parking, I will we had passes because there never seem to be enough. Other then that, I would definitely recommend living here!
Great place to live. Some things could have been cleaner on move in. At first glance everything looked great but I noticed more and more things that could have been prepped before moving in. The pool and volleyball court are nice additions and it’s great that bus passes are provided.
Absolutely love it. Spacious and clean. Maintenance very on top of service orders. Buses run very well to and from campus, and for the most part is always on time.
It's a five-minute walk from walmart and other supermarkets. The bus station is right next to the apartment！The environment is good, too. The interior is well equipped.
It is amazing living here. The quality of the apartment and the included furniture is impeccable. The staff is very friendly and makes me feel important. I recommend the Pointe to everyone.
nice apartments, individual leases and great amenities! buss pass is included and convenient. comes furnished. appliances could use some updating.
Deffiently a 5 start. It's always clean and quite here so it's very ideal for s college student. Rooms are actually spacious and individual bathrooms are the best
The apartment when we first moved in wasn’t cleaned or painted all that well. There needs to be some kind f inspection after the cleaners and painters do their work. The washer flooded out kitchen, other than that the facilities are nice.
Pretty good, staff is responsive, just some things in the appartment are meh but in comparison to other places it’s pretty good. It is a little pricey but you also have access to a gym, pool, volleyball court and game room
nice student living, own room and bathroom, staff is nice, kinda far from campus, but sometimes that's a good thing... lot of retail options
The amenities at the pointe are a definite upside. I have used the gym multiple times as well as the printer. The only actual complaints I have revolve around the community transfer policy. Having a "quota" for community transfers is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen from an apartment complex. Not all of your residences are your typical college age resident and can go home to mom and dad in between semesters.
